I have stopped watching HGTVs backyard crashers. A big mistake, as far as, I am concerned. I used to be glued to all their shows, but they keep dropping hosts with real knowledge of their field for just another pretty face. Too bad you cant be honest! Opps! Why dont the BIG BOYS listen to the masses. So why do they let the majority of their shows do just that? I think Oprah should give him a show on her station. I undertand people get invested in some of the hosts but guess what they are a dime a dozen and everyone is replaceable. My advise is, if its not broke dont fix it. Another example of a show whose premise is good (Love it or List it) but the show is completely un-watchable because of the bad overacting by the two hosts, the faux homeowner moaning and groaning, and the completely unrealistic budgets resulting in oh, we cant give you everything you want and then the homeowners freaking out. I want info and not just entertainment. )but I love sitting down to Yard Crashers with my husband AND Ahmed! I sure hope they have enough mirrors on the set of Yard Crashers now that hes hosting so he can comb what little hair he has left. Hosts come and go on HGTV all the time. And her backyard needs a lot of help it is large with a lot of potential. Not sure what DIY was thinking, but Ahmed was the perfect host for that show and it wont be the same, no matter how much they try to convince me otherwise.
